Dont forget your EPC!

As many people are aware Home Information Packs (HIPs) were suspended by Eric Pickles, Comunities minister, back in May of this year as they were seen to be holding back what was already a fragile housing market.   The requirement to provide an EPC when marketing a house for sale or to let however remains.  Lee Bilbrough commented   "Over the past few months there seems to have been some confusion amongst landlords who felt the requirement to prepare an EPC was suspended with the HIPS legislation.  Indeed this is not the case and we would urge any landlord looking to put their house on the market has an EPC prepared prior to doing so"
