As the economic uncertainties continue their has never been a better time to be a residential landlord as tenant demand continues to easily outstrip the supply of properties available to let. As a consequence the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) have reported that average void period, the time a property is empty between tenants, is at its lowest in nearly 10 years. According to a recent ARLA survey the national void period is only 3.2 weeks, a trend that has been falling throughout the whole of 2010.
Lee Bilbrough commented "Properties presented well and priced sensibly will let as there is strong demand accross all property types. Renting has become a viable, and in many cases preferable, alternative to home ownership".
Landlords looking to take advantage of the current strong market conditions should contact Lee who will be happy to introduce high quality tenants.
